Age: 11
Condition:  Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis
Symptoms:  Intermittent shoulder, low back, and hip pain
Goal: Scoliosis correction and stabilization, pain reduction

The Challenge

The patient was near skeletal maturation at Risser stage 4.  Typically, these patients would be monitored and observed as they would be considered skeletally mature.

The Solution: Total Scoliosis Solution (TSS) Program

She enrolled in our TSS Program, where we designed a personalized treatment plan focused on:

Scoliosis correction and stabilization with a focus on realignment and postural balance

Soft tissue remodeling and targeted muscle activation

Targeted exercises to reduce pain and decrease neural tension

Scoliosis-specific exercise and home program for long-term self management for life

The Results

After following the TSS Program there was a 78% curve reduction.  Her scoliosis was also not easily visible, and her symptoms have also improved.  She also has a strategy on how to manage her scoliosis for life.
